Hospitality solution

B&B and guesthouse linen at wholesale prices

Guesthouses and homestays usually buy without a purchasing department, without an industrial laundry and without room to store excess. That changes the right answer: durability and easy handling matter more than headline thread count, and the order should be sized to what actually turns over. BOREDON sells these properties the same factory product supplied to hotels, at wholesale quantities starting from 50 pieces.

Buyer guidance

Buying well without a purchasing department

Domestic machines change the specification

If linen is washed on site in domestic or semi-commercial machines, the wash is gentler but the drying is slower and the ironing is manual. Heavier percale and high-thread-count cotton look excellent and iron badly in that environment. Tell us how the property actually launders and the recommendation shifts to constructions that recover their appearance without a calender.

Mixed bed sizes are the norm

Converted houses rarely have two identical bedrooms. List every bed by measured width, length and mattress depth rather than by label such as double or queen, which means different dimensions in different countries. This single step eliminates most of the fit complaints we see from smaller properties.

Buy in pars, not in rooms

Two full changes per bed is the practical floor for a property without same-day laundry; three is comfortable. Under two pars, a single delayed wash means stripping a room out of service. This is the most common under-ordering error among first-time buyers.

White stays cheaper to run

White linen can be washed together, bleached where necessary and replaced piece by piece for years. Colored sets look distinctive on the first booking and become an inventory problem when one item wears out and the dye lot has moved. Where color matters, keep it in throws, runners and cushions rather than in the wash-heavy items.

Buyer FAQ

Questions about b&bs & guesthouses

Can a small guesthouse order direct from the factory?

Yes. Confirmed minimums are 50 pieces for sheets, duvet covers and robes and 100 pieces for towels. A property with six to ten rooms typically reaches those quantities across a normal opening order.

Is factory-direct worth it against a local wholesaler for small volumes?

It depends on freight. For a single small order shipped by air the landed cost may be comparable; the advantage appears on a container-sized or consolidated order, on custom sizes, and on the ability to reorder the identical product years later against a retained specification.

What should we send for a quotation?

A list of beds by measured size, the number of bathrooms, your target par level, whether you launder on site, and the destination city. That is enough for a costed reply.

How long does delivery take?

Final lead time is confirmed after BOREDON reviews the product specification, quantity, customization, order mix and current production schedule.
