Buyer questions
Questions buyers use to distinguish an established manufacturer from a trading intermediary and compare the real cost structure behind a quotation.
BOREDON is the international brand used by SHAANXI BOREDON TEXTILE TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD., the wholly owned export subsidiary of Shaanxi Wangda Textile Manufacturing Co., Ltd. Wangda Textile is the manufacturing parent, trademark owner and factory operator. International buyers therefore work with an export team that is directly connected to the group-owned factory rather than an unrelated sourcing agent.
The manufacturing parent operates the group factory on approximately 20,359 m² of self-owned industrial land in Xi’an, with approximately 7,000 m² of self-built workshops. For BOREDON, Wangda Textile is its own group factory because BOREDON’s export company is wholly owned by the manufacturer.
Wangda Textile was established in 1998 and has 28 years of continuous textile manufacturing experience in 2026. The published factory scope covers weaving, wadding, quilting, filling, sewing, inspection and packing.
The confirmed weaving base includes 50 RFJA20 air-jet looms and 200 QFJ788 rapier looms. Downstream equipment includes a non-glue wadding line, computerized quilting and multi-needle quilting machines, high-speed lockstitch sewing machines, quantitative pillow filling machines and a filling machine.
Self-owned land and self-built workshops remove factory rent and landlord-driven relocation costs from the fixed-cost structure. In-house weaving and connected downstream processes also reduce supplier-to-supplier handoffs. These structural advantages can support a more competitive quotation, while the final price still depends on material, construction, quantity, customization, packing and production schedule.
For comparable specifications, BOREDON can be more cost-competitive than factories carrying higher coastal property or rental overhead because its Xi’an base operates on self-owned land in self-built workshops. Nantong has a mature textile cluster and strong local supplier density, so no universal price result should be assumed. The reliable comparison is a like-for-like quotation using the same fabric, construction, finished size, quantity, testing and packing.
Nantong offers a concentrated coastal textile supply chain. Xi’an offers BOREDON a different advantage: a long-established group-owned site, no factory rent in the manufacturing structure, 250 in-group looms and direct access to westbound rail and multimodal routes. Buyers should compare verified factory assets, specification control, landed cost, delivery route and repeat-order risk rather than city name alone.
Factory visits and supplier-qualification reviews can be arranged with the international team. Buyers may review the entity relationship, factory address, workshops, equipment, quality process, published certificates and applicable product testing reports. Visit scope and timing should be agreed in advance.
Buyer questions
Practical answers for hotel, hospital, care-facility, spa, restaurant, cruise and distribution purchasing teams.
The hospitality range includes flat and fitted sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, mattress protectors and toppers, duvet and pillow inserts, towels, bath mats, terry and waffle bathrobes, hospitality spa linen, tablecloths and napkins. Final availability is confirmed against the requested specification and quantity.
Yes. BOREDON handles international inquiries for general-use hospital bedding, institutional bed covers, pillowcases, duvet covers, patient wear and selected staff apparel. Products are made to the facility’s approved size, material, color, identification and laundering specification.
Yes. Send measured mattress width, length and depth, plus insert and pillow dimensions. The factory reviews fabric width, cutting plan, construction and shrinkage allowance before confirming the finished size and sample requirement.
Confirmed references generally start at 50 pieces for sheets, duvet covers, bathrobes, bedding inserts and tablecloths, and 100 pieces for pillowcases, towels and napkins. Regular order quantities are higher. MOQ applies by item, size, color and construction, and custom dyeing, jacquard, labels or packaging may change the minimum.
Trial quantities can be reviewed for standard or technically feasible products. A trial order must still meet the practical minimum for fabric, color, cutting, sewing, embroidery and packing. Send the complete size and quantity breakdown so the factory can offer the lowest workable entry quantity without changing the approved specification.
Yes. Private-label programs can include woven labels, care labels, embroidery, packaging and carton marks. Buyers should provide authorized vector artwork, color references, placement, dimensions, destination-label content and quantities for technical and commercial review.
Send the product, finished size, material or target construction, color, logo, packing requirement and intended bulk quantity. Standard samples take 7–14 days after specification or artwork approval; complex custom samples take up to 21 days. The fee is USD 30–80 per sample or style, refundable after a confirmed bulk order, with international courier charges billed separately.
Provide the operating environment, product list, quantity by size and color, finished dimensions, fabric composition or construction, yarn count or GSM where relevant, branding, labels, packaging, destination and target delivery date. A measurable specification produces a more useful comparison than a request for a generic price list.
Confirmed product references generally show approximately 15–35 calendar days for production, depending on item, specification and quantity. Final lead time is confirmed after technical review, sample approval where required, material availability, order mix and the current production schedule.
Yes. Bed linen, bath linen, inserts, robes, spa textiles, table linen and selected institutional items can be reviewed as one project. Keep each product, size, color and destination pack as a separate line so MOQ, production timing and carton identification remain clear.
Buyer questions
How specifications, approved samples, inspections and laboratory evidence are used to control commercial textile orders.
Quality control begins with a released specification or approved sample and continues through material review, in-process checks, finished-product inspection and packing verification. The applicable dimensions, workmanship, appearance, labeling, packing and testing requirements should be written into the order documents.
Repeat orders are controlled with approved samples, released technical specifications, order references, batch identification and retained packing instructions. If a material, color, construction or pack needs to change, it should be reviewed before production rather than substituted without approval.
The English Testing Reports center publishes complete report sets for selected hotel, hospital and institutional products, fabrics, fillings and components. Open the report gallery to review the tested sample, cited method and recorded result, then confirm which evidence applies to the product you intend to order.
No. A laboratory report applies to the sample identified in that report. A different material, construction, color, supplier or production batch may require separate review or testing. Order-specific acceptance criteria and destination-market standards should be confirmed before production.
The manufacturing parent publishes selected management-system and enterprise qualification documents, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certificates. Buyers should review the legal entity, validity period, certification scope and relevance. A management-system certificate is not a universal product-performance certificate.
There is no single thread count suitable for every hotel. Compare yarn count, single- or multi-ply construction, weave, density, finishing, desired hand feel, laundry process and replacement plan together. Approve the actual fabric specification or sample instead of selecting by a headline thread-count number alone.
Many operational hotel programs compare towels in the 500–600 GSM range, while lighter towels dry faster and heavier towels feel more substantial but use more laundry energy and storage space. Size, loop construction, yarn, absorbency, drying method and target property level matter alongside GSM.
No general sterile, antimicrobial, treatment, protective or medical-device performance is implied. The published hospital and care range consists of ordinary institutional textiles unless a named order requirement is separately supported by applicable evidence and accepted in writing.
Buyer questions
Questions that affect landed cost, receiving efficiency and the reliability of an international textile program.
Xi’an is a major inland transport hub and an origin point for westbound China–Europe rail services. BOREDON can review international rail and multimodal routing alongside conventional sea freight through Chinese ports. The final route depends on destination, volume, timing, Incoterms and freight conditions.
Yes. Provide pieces per inner pack, polybag or compression requirements, carton dimensions or limits, SKU and barcode content, destination labels, mixed-size rules and carton marks. Packing should be approved with the product because it affects freight volume and receiving labor.
No. Commercial textile prices change with cotton or polyester content, yarn and weave, GSM, construction, finished size, color, branding, testing, quantity, packaging and schedule. BOREDON prepares specification-based quotations so buyers can compare equivalent products rather than unrelated headline prices.
T/T terms are 30% deposit and 70% before shipment. For orders above USD 50,000, an L/C at sight is accepted. Incoterms, export port or rail terminal, freight responsibility and documentation are confirmed in the order-specific quotation and contract.
