BOREDON supplies terry and waffle bathrobes for hotels, resorts and hospitality spas. Each program is developed around fabric composition, GSM, size set, pattern, belt and loop construction, color and embroidery, with the approved sample controlling fit and finishing.

Buyer guidance
Terry robes prioritize an absorbent loop surface; waffle robes provide a lighter construction. Confirm the intended environment and laundering process.
Provide finished garment measurements or an approved sample rather than relying on a size label alone.
Confirm embroidery position, dimensions, thread colors and artwork, plus any woven or care label.
The fabric choice is a positioning decision, not a quality ranking. Terry is absorbent, heavy and reads as substantial, which suits a full-service hotel with laundry capacity for the weight. Waffle is lighter, dries faster and takes less drying energy and storage space, which suits spa use, warm climates and properties with constrained laundry.
Weight in GSM is the other half of the decision. A heavier robe feels more luxurious in the room and costs more to wash, dry and store for the life of the program. State your laundry capacity and drying method and the two variables can be balanced honestly rather than by defaulting to whichever is heaviest.
Robes are worn by adults of very different builds, and most properties carry two sizes rather than one universal. Length, sleeve length, body width and the belt-and-collar construction determine whether the robe works across that range, and a shawl collar, kimono collar and hooded style each fit differently at the same nominal size.
Confirm the size distribution you intend to stock per room type, plus any children’s requirement. Quantity per size is what determines whether each line clears minimum order quantity.
A robe is the item guests photograph and occasionally take home, so it is where a mark carries furthest. Embroidery on the chest, a woven label at the collar or hem, contrast piping and a custom belt are all available, and the artwork should arrive as vector files with color reference, placement and dimensions.
Embroidery has a digitizing and setup cost, so it behaves as a threshold rather than a per-piece charge. A single well-placed embroidery on a stock white robe is usually the most cost-effective route to a distinctive product on a modest opening order.
Robes occupy more laundry and storage volume per piece than any other guestroom textile, and terry in particular takes a long time to dry. Par level therefore has to account for drying time, not just wash time, plus rooms held out of service and a replacement allowance for loss — which on robes is real and should be budgeted rather than treated as shrinkage.
Send room counts, the sizes and fabrics you want per room type, and the intended par, and quantities can be reviewed against minimums per line.
