Hotel linen supplier for Europe

European hotel buyers importing linen from China face three recurring problems: bed sizes quoted to American dimensions, labeling that does not satisfy EU fiber-composition rules, and a trading company that cannot answer a technical question. BOREDON addresses each directly — continental sizing is standard production, labels are manufactured to the importer's approved specification, and the export team is part of the factory. Xi’an's China–Europe rail connection additionally makes a faster-than-sea option available when an opening date is fixed.

Importing hotel linen into Europe

European bed sizes, specified in centimeters

European mattresses run to 200 cm lengths and country-specific widths — UK single 90 × 190, UK king 150 × 200, German 90 × 200 and 180 × 200, French 140 × 190 and 160 × 200. A US king is not a UK king. Send measured dimensions in centimeters with topper depth included and specify the required fitted-sheet pocket depth explicitly.

EU labeling: fiber composition is mandatory

Regulation (EU) No 1007/2011 requires accurate fiber-composition labeling in the language of the member state where the product is sold. Care symbols are conventional rather than mandated by that regulation. BOREDON manufactures woven and care labels to the content the importer approves, in the required languages; the importer remains responsible for the accuracy and legality of the label content in their market.

REACH, OEKO-TEX and what a certificate actually covers

REACH restricts certain substances in textiles placed on the EU market. OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 is a voluntary product certification that many European buyers request. Any such requirement should be named explicitly in the RFQ with the standard, class and testing scope, because a certificate applies to the tested article and scope — not to every product a factory makes. Wangda Textile publishes ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management-system certificates, which qualify the process rather than certify a product.

Rail when the opening date is fixed, sea when it is not

China–Europe rail from Xi’an is commonly referenced at roughly 15–22 days against roughly 30–45 days for container sea freight to North European ports, at a higher cost per cubic meter. For a delayed pre-opening order or a mid-season replenishment, rail frequently earns its premium; for a large stocking order it rarely does. Both are quoted so the comparison is yours to make.

Vacation rentals and small European properties

Europe's rental and boutique sector orders in far smaller quantities than hotel groups. MOQ applies per item, size and color, so consolidating sizes and staying with white bed linen — which avoids dye-lot minimums — is how these programs usually become viable. Distributors serving that sector buy under their own brand with no BOREDON marking on the goods.

Buyer FAQ

Questions about europe

Do you supply hotel linen to Europe?

Yes. European hotels, rental operators, distributors and procurement companies are quoted directly by the factory's export subsidiary, with China–Europe rail from Xi’an and container sea freight both available.

Can you make UK, German and French bed sizes?

Yes. Continental and UK sizing is standard production, including UK king 150 × 200 cm and German 180 × 200 cm, plus custom finished dimensions. Note that a US king is materially larger than a UK king — send measured dimensions rather than size names.

Do your labels meet EU requirements?

Labels are manufactured to the content the importer approves, including fiber composition in the required member-state languages under Regulation (EU) No 1007/2011. Responsibility for the accuracy and legality of that content in the destination market rests with the importer.

Can you provide OEKO-TEX certified linen?

Name the standard, class and testing scope in the RFQ and it will be reviewed for the specific product. A certificate covers the tested article and scope; it is not treated as a blanket claim across the range.

How long does delivery to Europe take?

Production is approximately 15–35 calendar days depending on product and quantity, then roughly 15–22 days by rail or 30–45 days by sea as commonly cited references. Final timing is confirmed against the specification and current schedule.
