Hotel and resort spa linen

Spa linen fails for reasons guestroom linen never encounters: treatment oil that does not fully wash out, high-temperature sanitising cycles, and dark colors chosen for atmosphere that show every degradation. Specifying a spa program means designing around the treatment menu and the wash process, then matching the linen to the actual furniture in the treatment rooms.

Specifying around treatments and wash chemistry

Measure every table, including the headrest

Massage tables vary by manufacturer and are often adjusted per therapist. Fitted covers need the width, length and pad depth; face cradle covers need the cradle shape and the opening diameter. Where a spa runs several table models, they are separate line items — a cover that is 4 cm short simply does not stay on.

Treatment oil is the real durability test

Massage and aromatherapy oils oxidize in the fabric and leave yellow-brown marks that survive normal washing, especially on cotton in cooler cycles. Tell us the treatment menu and the wash temperature and chemistry actually used. Constructions and colors can be chosen to manage this, but no textile is immune, and any supplier claiming otherwise is guessing.

Dark colors require a stated colorfastness requirement

Charcoal, aubergine and black are common in spa design and are the hardest colors to hold through repeated hot washing with bleach-adjacent chemistry. Where the design requires them, the order should state a colorfastness requirement and test method rather than relying on a general expectation of durability.

Plan par levels around treatment volume

Quantity follows treatments per day per room, not room count: each treatment consumes a table sheet, a cover, towels and often a robe and slippers. A four-room spa running eight treatments a day per room consumes at a very different rate from one running three.

Buyer FAQ

Questions about hospitality spas

Can spa linen be made in dark colors?

Yes, subject to color approval, material availability, quantity and a defined colorfastness requirement written into the order. The technical review will state what is realistic for your wash process before you commit.

Can you make custom face-cradle openings?

Yes. Provide the cover size and the opening diameter and shape, or send an approved physical sample to copy.

Do you supply hotel spa and pool towels in one program?

Yes. Pool towels are usually specified separately from treatment towels because sun exposure, chlorine and loss rates differ substantially from indoor spa use.

What is the lead time for spa linen?

Final lead time is confirmed after BOREDON reviews the product specification, quantity, customization, order mix and current production schedule.
